For this reason the MCD Labelkit system has been studied.
The labels are cataloged according to a standard international color code proposed by the American Society of Testing and Materials, subcommitee D, which allows a rapid identification according to the action of the drug itself. This system guarantees an important increase in security in anesthesia in addition with a ridiculously low cost. By standardizing each operating room with a Labelkit MCD system, the risks associated with the exchange of syringes and therefore the risks associated with anesthesia are reduced.
